Update

So, I finally put some new photos/videos for your enjoyment. I just thought I'd give a short update on what's going on here.

We are preparing to leave Hawaii. We leave in May, hopefully early May. Our assignment cycle closes out this Thursday and so we should hopefully find out where we're headed sometime in the next few weeks. We're hoping for Washington State or Colorado. Colorado looks promising on the list, but we'll see if we get lucky.

Dennis is doing well. He's preparing to move again in his unit. He won't be working with any of the people he's been working with it seems. Oh well, it's only for a few more months. He is working on an exercise this week so we have him home during the day and he will start his shift at 7 p.m. tonight. He's considering going back to school for a second Bachelor's degree. Can you say crazy? Ha ha!

I am doing well. I am in the middle of another accounting course. If all goes as planned I will complete my final course Aug. 30! Yes! There is a light at the end of this tunnel. I am working it so I can take at least half of May off for the move. I am working with the Activity Days girls at church and that is fun. I am really enjoying teaching the kids at home. We are doing so much and our day goes much better with the schedule now.

Denny is doing great! He is learning to read. He knows all his "at" words and is working on his "an" words now. So exciting! He writes all his uppercase letters and we are working on lowercase letters now. He can do addition in his head. He just popped up with "2 +1 is 3, Mom." We include scripture study every day in his workbox. Today I was talking about baptism and he says "John the Baptism baptized Jesus." So cute and smart! He amazes me every day with his knowledge. I don't know how he gets all this information in his head, but he's like a sponge.

Emily is a cutie! She's talking so clearly now and follows her brothers around everywhere. She is so excited about Jacob crawling and will stand in front of him and pat her knees and say "Come here Jake." She loves to give him snacks as well. She and Denny play very well together, which I am grateful for. She is learning to recognize her letters and numbers. She can sing her ABCs and count to 17 but doesn't recognize them all yet.

Jacob is moving everywhere now and so happy now that he's found his freedom. I cannot believe he is going to be a year old in just a few weeks! For those of you on the island, we'll be having a celebration for his birthday out at Ko'Olina Resort. Call me or email me and I'll give you details. He's starting to make audible words almost. "Mama" is almost there. "Mu DaDa" is one of his favorites. He's figured out the stairs and falls down after only one stair so we put the gate up and he gets mad. He loves playing with his siblings and just adores them!

All is well here and we are really looking forward to seeing you all when we get back to the mainland. Love to all.
