Workbox system

We came home from church and I let the kids watch a movie while dinner was getting prepared. Emily must have just worn herself out in nursery cause this is how I found her when it was time for dinner. So cute!

So, we are in homeschool world full swing. Denny and Emily are both doing homeschooling. Emily's is not very thorough yet, but she's learning her letter and number recognition. Anyways, I found this wonderful system to organize our materials in and I wanted to share photos. These are Denny's workboxes. He gets 9 boxes a day and the contain math, history, reading, writing, thinking skills, games/snack, puzzles, art, etc.
Emily gets 4 boxes for now. She does art, puzzles, reading, writing, letters and numbers.
This is their school desk. It can go down to be a short table but I haven't found chairs that are good for that height, so we're sticking with the normal height. It works. The cards on their table are their box strips. They peel off the number on their box when they've completed the work and stick it to their card. They love finishing up their card every day.
