Wow, it's been a while!

Things have been crazy these past few months. So much has changed. We got orders and moved to Langley AFB in Virginia. We have been here for nearly 3 full weeks and are slowly settling into the house. It's a beautiful area here in southern Virginia. We are really enjoying the change of scenery.
On our way here we made a stop in Texas and Oklahoma to visit with family. That was a great trip and we wish it could have been a bit longer. The kids are doing well. The first several days the kids kept asking if this was Virginia or whenever we'd get in the car they would say "bye-bye house" and "we're going to Virginia now." I think they've finally figured out that this is Virginia and our new home.
Dennis is getting settled into his new work environment. It's quite a bit different from his previous assignment based on what he's come home talking about. He's now in a secure building that nobody can gain access to without authorization.
I am doing fine. Still have fits of morning sickness and lack of energy, but for the most part doing well. The baby is growing right on time and we will hopefully get to finally see pictures of him or her in mid-July. The hospital here does not allow for dads to come into the ultrasound room so we're going to go off base to a place that allows kids in as well, so we'll all get to experience this ultrasound together. The kids are excited, especially Emily to see "our baby." Emily routinely comes up to me and puts one toy or another to my tummy and says "can you hear the baby?" She is super excited for a baby to come and to share her room with the baby. Denny and Jacob are sharing a room now and Jacob has graduated to a toddler bed. It's going pretty well aside from his idea to get out of bed and walk around the room for a while.
Oh! Speaking of ... Jacob is WALKING!! Finally! He actually started on May 2 when we were visiting my family. He took several steps back and forth between Dennis and I. Finally while we were on our road trip out here we stopped in Knoxville, TN to see my brother and Jacob really started getting a little more comfortable with the idea of walking, but once we got our house here he just seemed to decide it was time and just took off. Now, there is no stopping him. He recently mastered turning around and so he frequently walks in circles all around the living room while Dennis and I just laugh. He's so funny! He also started playing peek-a-boo on his own now as well.
Well, my quiet time is about to expire, so I will get off here before that happens. I will try to be better about updating this more often. Hope all of you are doing well.
