Growing up

Well, it's official. We are parents of a sunbeam! He's not so excited though. He was all excited until the end of Sacrament meeting and I told him he would be sitting in the chapel with his teacher and he said "I don't want to be a Sunbeam anymore."  He did okay though and no problems were reported but he continued with this feeling after his class Sunday.  We went to his first Primary activity yesterday and he wasn't wild about participating but by the end he was sitting with all the other kids and totally comfortable.
Emily, on the other hand, started nursery Sunday and Dennis had to stay with her the whole time as she would cry every time he got up out of the chair in nursery. We're hoping she adjusts within a month so he doesn't have to worry about her when Jacob comes. I'm sure she'll adjust just like Denny did. She's just clingy to us these days and not liking being left with someone else.
We decided to rake up some leaves that had been in our backyard forever. Wow, the bugs that were hiding under there were awful! Including centipedes. Yeah!  Anyway, the kids enjoyed jumping in the leaves and even helping pick them up and put them in bags. Now the yard is bare and we're hoping some grass will grow back soon.
All is well here. We're 36 weeks today so we're finally in the last month! Yeah!  I am ready for this little man to get here. I am getting no sleep as I am HUGE!! I know I won't get much sleep when he gets here but at least the little I get will be more comfortable. Ha!
All for now. Hope you're all doing well. We love you guys.

  1. Noah can certainly relate with the who being a Sunbeam thing. That's been pretty rough! I've almost considered letting him go to nursery until we move, but I'm trying to resist the temptation. It's great to see new pictures and I'm glad to hear that all is well with the growing baby. I'm with you on the whole pregnancy thing... you may not get much sleep afterward, but at least you can be comfortable!
