It's almost over!

I am so excited that I am almost done with my last class before Jacob Edward is born. Yeah! I only have one more paper to write and one week of class left. I hope to take at least 6 weeks off before jumping back into school. In other news, Emily had her 18 month check up and she is off the charts for her height and head size and in the 90 percentile for her weight.  She weighs right at 26 pounds. She's so funny these days. She's learned to say "thank you" and when you say "you're welcome" she giggles.  Last night was the first time she said "night Daddy" and "night Denny" rather than just "night night". She loves her Denny or "Diddy" in her language. She is getting pretty clingy to me lately. I am thinking she's pretty aware of something big happening soon and doesn't want to be away from me. A friend of mine keeps the kids when I have appointments and whatnot and now when we drive by her house even if we're just picking up one of her kids or something Emily starts crying and reaching for me. I have to explain that we're not leaving her there and she still doesn't completely calm down until we pull away again.
Denny is growing up so much. We watched videos of him last night from when he was about 18 months old and some younger and he was such a little chunk! It's so cute to hear his little voice back then. He was amazed to see himself and had a hard time believing it was him.  He's gotten into playing "Go Fish" lately and we usually play Uno (Thomas the Train style). Last night we were playing Uno and when we would ask if he had a card he could play and he didn't he would say "Go Fish."  He also loves to say Uno everytime he plays a card. So funny!
Jacob is growing so big and has developed the strength to pop my hip out on his own.  I don't know if everyone knew that or not, but I have been having a hip rotating problem and had to go to physical therapy. Dennis came with and was taught out to pop my hips back into alignment and then I would feel great for a few hours. Well, now Jacob moves the right way and my hip pops right back out. Ugh!  I'm ready for this big dude to come out already. We have just over 2 weeks left, but we're hoping to be induced on time if not early to prevent more pain in my hips. We'll find out more on Wednesday at my 38 week appointment. I'm told they won't induce before 39 weeks, so we definitely have another week unless they decide otherwise. Doubt it.
Well, I suppose I've rambled on enough for now.  We will let you all know when our little bundle arrives. Love you guys.
