Happy New Year!

Man, I keep forgetting to update this blog. I am making a goal of keeping this more up to date this year. Now you'll all know when I fail! Ha!  We had a great Christmas. The kids got spoiled rotten and loved every present.  The playroom looks like a whole new place because of all the new toys.  Unfortunately, beginning Christmas Day afternoon Emily got sick and was throwing up all evening. She was the beginning of a horrible week of all of us getting the stomach virus that seems to be going around.  Dennis got it early Sunday and Denny and I followed suit Sunday afternoon. We're all better now, we think. Emily is still questionable, but we're hoping it's over.

With the new year comes so many changes.  Denny is a Sunbeam now. Unfortunately he missed the first Sunday because of all of us being sick, but we'll let you know how it goes next week. His teacher is a friend of ours so he'll know her and of course all his friends from nursery will be in his class.  Emily also gets to start nursery Sunday. Dennis will go with her the first week or two to make sure she's okay and does well.  This all just in time for Jacob to come.  We get one month of kid-free Sunday School and RS/PH until the little guy comes.  We're really looking forward to his arrival.  He keeps getting the hiccups and keeps me up half the night with his moving. He's getting so big!

Oh, we got Guitar Hero for Christmas and Emily loved playing the drums. I am including a photo of her playing. She's so cute! Denny pretends to play his play guitar next to Dad playing the guitar for the game. It's pretty cute.

We've been getting a lot of rain lately so we decided to get the kids some rain gear. Then they decided to go play in the puddles one wet morning. Denny got so wet his boots were half full of water!
