Well, this week was busy. I had my 36 week appointment and Jacob has turned and he's growing big. He knows the spots to hit to inflict pain too. Three more weeks until we get to hold him. Yeah! We were pleasantly surprised to have Dennis get a four-day weekend this weekend. There was some front moving through that was supposed to bring 60 mph gusts and so they called and told Dennis he didn't have to work on Friday. We didn't get much of anything but a little rain, but it gave Dennis and I an opportunity to go out on a date and then we got the kids and went shopping and took them to play games at Dave and Buster's. It was quite a long day as we didn't get home until after 9:30 p.m. and we had left at 10 a.m. Then, as if I was glutton for punishment, we decided to take the kids to the zoo on Saturday morning. Turns out there was a protest march scheduled so the streets around the zoo were closed off so we had to park about 1.5 miles away from the zoo and walk. Dennis carried Emily while I pushed Denny and his friend Chayden in the double stroller. By the time we got to the zoo I was worn out but the kids had a great time and we survived the day, but unfortunately, I was in pretty severe pain for the rest of the weekend because all the walking caused my hip to pop out again and we still haven't been able to get me straightened out.
Today we ventured out and did a little shopping and Emily got a really cute Cinderella outfit (she loves Cinderella) and Denny got a new Nerf gun. Denny and Emily are sharing a room now in preparation for Jacob's arrival. They just started that last night and it went okay. They are adjusting well to the change.
Well, I believe that is it for now. Here are some photos of the kids at the zoo, Emily in her Cinderella dress and them on their first Sunday as Sunbeam and nursery bound children.
